Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase output at high-speed in a two-cycle engine, and to prevent over-revolution in a four-cycle engine, by controlling ignition timing so that an ignition lead angle become to approximate trapezoid shapes to the speed of revolution of the engines. CONSTITUTION:A condenser 19 is charged and discharged by the alternating current output signals of a pulser-coil 8, and electric charge being proportioned to the speed of revolution of an engine is charged to a condenser 22. When the speed of revolution reaches not less than some fixed value, the terminal voltage of the condenser 22, the base voltage of a TR24, increases, and the gate signal voltage of a SCR7 is bypassed to the TR24 and drops. Thus, the ignition timing of an ignition plug 6 is delayed because the conduction timing of the SCR7 is delayed. Each element is selected in a lag angle circuit 15 so that a lead angle characteristic become to an approximate trapezoid shape.
