Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide proper timing ignition by providing a thyristor in a discharge circuit of a condensor discharge ignition equipment CDI whose gate circuit includes a function for detecting the state of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:An igniting high-tension magneto generator 4 consists of a charging coil 4a, a fast pick-up coil 4b of an ignition timing generator and a slow pick-up coil 4c. Those outputs of deceleration switch 8, an idle switch 9, a throttle opening detector 10, and a thermo-sensor are applied to the electric circuit 5 of the CDI which detect the state of the internal combustion engine. A thyristor is supplied in the discharge circuit 5 of the CDI whose gate current and current phase angle are controlled by those outputs of the functions of detecting the state of the internal combustion engine.
