Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title resin composition having excellent mechanical properties and releasability, by compounding a specific aromatic polyester polycarbonate with an ester of a 12W32C aliphatic carboxylic acid and a 1W30C aliphatic alcohol.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester carbonate having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4W1.5 and a glass- transition point of 160W190°C, and composed of the structural units of formulas I and II (X is bivalent group; the aromatic group may have substitution groups), wherein the molar ratios of [dihydroxyaryl compound residue]:[terephthalic acid residue]:[carbonate bond] and 1:0.33W0.75:0.67W0.25, and (B) 0.01W5 parts, pref. 0.05W3 parts by weight of an ester derived from a 12W32C aliphatic carboxylic acid such as lauric acid and myristic acid, and a 1W30C aliphatic alcohol such as methyl alcohol and ethylene glycol.
