Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition having improved moldability and impact resistance from a specific aromatic polyester-polycarbonate and a polyolefinic resin.
CONSTITUTION: One hundred pts.wt. of an aromatic polyester-polycarbonate (A) made up of the structural unit of the formula 1 (X is a divalent group and aromatic nucleus may have substitutents) and the structural unit of the formula II, having a dihydroxydiaryl compound residual group : terephthalic acid residual group : carbonate bond mole ratio of 1:0.33W0.75:0.67W0.25, an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4W 1.5, a glass transition point of 160W190°C, and a terminal carboxylic group equivalent of 10 micron or less/g of resin, is mixed with 1W120pts.wt., preferably 5W 100pts.wt., of a polyolefinic resin(B), e.g., polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.
