Abstract

PURPOSE: To lighten an engine load, with the pump action made achievable, by means of selectively inducting to control a pair of fluid pressure source to a signal fluid pressure chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A linking of the fluid, between an inlet port 20 and a chamber 28, is controlled by two valve substances 45, 46 arranged almost symmetrically with a rod 39 being the center. Accordingly, with the both valve substances 45, 46 in a closed condition and a negative pressure when inducted to the chamber 28, a thin plate 42 is not energized to be deflected by this negative pressure but prevented from being inclined, resulting in an improvement of the sealing characteristic. And the valve action causes either one of intake manifold negative pressure or atmospheric pressure to be selectively linked tp a signal pressure chamber 30 through the chamber 28, accordingly, a passage 32, and controlled, with both diaphragm substances 29, 35 periodically made up-down movement, and the pump action can be very smoothly operated.
