Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a compact design and to prevent rises in oil temperature by supporting both a spool valve and a poppet valve with the same spring and providing a solenoid for operating the spool valve and a solenoid for oprating the poppet valve.
CONSTITUTION: With solenoids 16 and 17 off operation, a spool valve 11 is held at its open position and a poppet valve 13 at its closed position by the elastic force of a return spring 15, so that hydraulic oil circulates under no load through an inflow passage 6, the spool valve 11, and outflow chamber 4, an outflow passage 2 back to a tank 2, preventing rises in the oil temperature. With the spool valve 11 moved toward the poppet valve 13 by the excitation of the solenoid 16, the passage 6 is isolated from the outflow chamber 4, and the hydraulic oil flows through a check valve 19 to operate a load cylinder 8. With the solenoid 7 excited, the poppet valve 13 moves leftward in the figure to communicate the passage 9 with the chamber 4; therefore, the hydraulic oil in the cylinder 8 returns to a tank 3.
