Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve absorption of electrolyte in such a way that a raw material plate is formed by applying pressure on the compound material which mainly contains manganess dioxide but without binder, by which is made flake-shaped raw material pieces which are further crushed into particle and molded under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A raw material plate 15 which has high concentration and continuity is fashioned in such a way that manganess dioxide is taken as main ingredient, which is added flake graphite and electrolyte, and anolytic agent raw material 13 without binder is brought under pressure by rollers 14. This is sent to a crusher 17 by way of a chute 16, which is made to be raw material pieces 18 demolished into flake shapes under weight on the way, which are crushed by a crusher 17 and made into granular raw material particle 19. The raw material particle 19 is molded under pressure to be a cylindrical anolytic agent 1 by a molding machine 20. This facilitates to improve efficiency of manufacturing batteries by enlarging electrolyte absorbing velocity of the anolytic agent 1.
