Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect errors in sequence suuply to report anomaly to the external rapidly by dprobiding a function which can detect anomaly at a supply time in the computer power supply system.
CONSTITUTION: At a power restoration time, automatic restart unit 11 generates a sequence supply signal to supply sucesively power of peripheral devices 12 at a fixed interval. Then, the power restoration signal starts the time counting of timer 15. Unit 11 generates an initialize signal to central operation control unit 13 at the power supply complection time of devices 12. When receiving this signal, unit 13 performs initial load to external storage device 14. When initial load is completed, a program is started to make the computer into an online state. When the program runs, a trigger instruction sets FF16. In error detction circuit 17, an error is generated in the course of supply sequence to detect that the program has been not started yet if FF16 is reset after operation completion of timer 15, and offline of the computer is reported to the external through alarm circuit 18.
