Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide recording paper having high recording speed and good black- and-white contrast characteristics, in which ordinary paper is integrated with high molecular material having piezoelectric property.
CONSTITUTION: Recording paper is formed by fitting piezoelectric macromolecular film 2 on ordinary paper 2. A latent image is formed on the recording paper by means of thermal printer head 3, and only part 5 is left with piezoelectric property. Then, this is given thermal or mechanical distortion uniformly, and only part 5 is given electric charge. Then, toner having charge of polarity opposite to that of the given charge is placed on the latent image, and by fixing it, a hard copy is obtained. Recording paper of the same characteristics can be obtained by mixing piezoelectric material with paper making material or impregnating ordinary paper with piezoelectric material.
