CONSTITUTION:When, for example, values of the surface electric potential and electric resistance before and after rubbing with a cleaning blade are compared with each other about the width in the direction of the length of a photosensitive layer 2, local drops which are considered to be the cause of generation of white streaks are recognized as shown by 3 in the diagram. Therefore, when a fluorine containing resin or a fluorine containing elastomer is used for a part of the blade which directly contacts with the surface of a photosensitive body when the photosensitive body has a chemical composition of AsxSe1-x (0<x<0.5), white streaks which are usually seen when conventional techniques are applied are seldom recognized, and excellent copied images are obtained.
