Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a compact and light-weight structure for the laser device by sharing the light transmission telescope, the light reception telescope and the object lens of the boresight telescope with one object lens. CONSTITUTION:The linear polarized giant pulse laser beam sent from Q switch laser oscillator 3' is radiated to the target through light transmission telescope eyepiece 2', polarizer 14, beam splitter 15 and object lens 1' each. While the laser beam reflected from the target receives full reflection via splitter 15 and through lens 1' to be fitted to polarizer 14. Laser beam reflected from the target features no polarization owing to the optical unevenness of th air propagation path and the reflection surface of the target. Accordingly, about 50% of the energy is reflected toward viewfield iris 16 for the laser beam reflected from the target, thus the stop pulse being generated. Thus no parallax is caused because of sharing of object lens 1', accordingly producing no boresight error at all.
