Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the operating temperature of a cooled photoelectric converter by forming a heat dissipating block mounted on a cooling head by heat accumulator having high heat capacity at low temperature and an enclosure using high heat conductive material for surrounding the accumulator. CONSTITUTION:A heat dissipating block 6 connected by bonding metal 5 such as In from a drive unit 3 to a cooling head 4 as a circulating cooler are arranged at a metallic outside container 1 having a transparent window 2. A laser device 7 is mounted while facing with the window at one side of the block 6, sealed at its sealer 8, evacuated in the interior 9 of the container 1 as an adiabatic structure. Thus, helium gas is introduced from a gas inlet 10 into the gas cylinder in the head 4, and circulated to elevationally move the piston in the head 4 by the drive unit 3 to thereby cool the block 6. The block 6 is formed with a heat accumulator 11 of pb having large heat capacity and an enclosure 12 of Cu of high heat conductivity for surrounding the accumulator 11 to thereby eliminate the temperature variations of the block to thus stabilize the laser device 7.
