Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the operating temperature of a cooled photoelectric converter by forming a heat dissipating block mounted on a cooling head by heat accumulator having high heat capacity at low temperature and an enclosure using high heat conductive material for surrounding the accumulator. CONSTITUTION:A heat dissipating block 6 connected by bonding metal 5 such as In from a drive unit 3 to a cooling head 4 as a circulating cooler are arranged at a metallic outside container 1 having a transparent window 2. A laser device 7 is mounted while facing with the window at one side of the block 6, sealed at its sealer 8, evacuated in the interior 9 of the container 1 as an adiabatic structure. Thus, helium gas is introduced from a gas inlet 10 into the gas cylinder in the head 4, and circulated to elevationally move the piston in the head 4 by the drive unit 3 to thereby cool the block 6.
