Abstract

PURPOSE: To discharge crude or fuel oil solidified and stored in a tank, in a short time, using a small capacity heater, by melting the upper circumferencial part of the oil, heating the molten oil with a heater, and dischrging the oil while recycling the oil throughout the tank.
CONSTITUTION: The upper circumferential part of crude or fuel oil stored in a tank 1 as solid, is molten by a melting means furnished to the whole circumference of the upper side wall of the tank 1, and the molten oil is discharged through discharging nozzles 3, 31, and 32. The molten oil is transferred through an outlet pipe 5, a pump 6 and a connecting tube 8 to a heater 7, and heated. The hot oil is injected into the tank through tangentially attached nozzls 4, 41, 42 and 43 to make a vortex. The solidified oil is molten gradually from the upper and circumferential part, and when a proper amount of the oil is molten it is discharged through an outlet pipe 10.
