Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a portable health food, by filling a mixture of a hot-water extract of chlorella or alga powder, an extract or powder of tonic plants, and edible fats and oils into gelatin capsules.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of an extract or powder of 0.5W1.5 parts by wt. tonic plants, e.g. garlic Ginseng ume, or Aloe, and hot-water extract of 7.0W9.0 parts by wt. of chlorella or its mixture with ganlic powder is incorporated into 100 parts by wt. of edible fats and oils, which are mixet with lecithin, vitamin E, etc. The gelatin membranes 6 are fed by the cylindrical die rolls a in contact with the wedge- shaped hot segments C to enclose the mixture homogenized by the pump d while being formed.
