Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the transmission torque in accordance with increasing rotation, shifting the centrifugal weight by centrifugal force due to rotation, by changing the spring force of clutch spring in accordance with the shifting, in the clutch to operate manually from outside.
CONSTITUTION: With a clutch lever held, the worm 13 rotates clockwise, the clutch release shaft 14 moves leftward, the disc 10 moves leftward, the plate 7, 9 is off, consequently the clutch is released. When the lever is released, a spring seat 4 moves rightward by clutch spring 11, since the disc 10 is pressed rightward, both plates 7, 9 are contacted forcedly so that the clutch is connected. With the speed increased, the centrifugal weight 15 moves from the position shown by the dotted line to the position shown by the full line, pressing the carrier plate, and pressing the disc 10 rightward through the pan spring 16. Thereby, energizing force of the clutch spring 17 actuates to the disc 10.
