Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce installation and operation costs and to improve safety, by locating a liquid cooling device at a gas conduit passage.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid cooler 6 equipped with a coolant evaporator is located between a pump 4, placed on a conduit passage 3 feeding liquefied gas from a tank 1 to a burner 2, and a burner 5 seperated from a cooled liquid passage through the medium of a partition. A part of liquefied gas in the conduit passage 3 is fed to an evaporating part through a branch pipe 7 diverged from the conduit passage 3, and is evaporated at the inside of the evaporating part or at an inlet port of the evaporating part. The heat of evaporation generated cools the liquefied gas in the conduit passage 3 to reduce a temperature of the liquid down to a given temperature. Afterwards, the fluid, whose dicharge or pressure is regulated by a control valve 5, is sprayed from a nozzle of the burner 2, and gas, which is generated as a result of being gasified due to the pressure reduced by the liquid cooler 6, is fed to a pilot burner 8 wherein sprayed gas is burned. This permits liquefied gas flowing through the conduit passage 3 to be fully cooled in the summer season, and to be free from evaporating at the inside of the conduit passage 3. Furthermore, this allows the control valve 5 to be minimized, and allows the danger of gas leakage to be reduced.
