Abstract

PURPOSE: Various kinds of sludges are dried, crashed and the organic components is converted in a high-temperature furnace into gas fuels and the inorganic components into melted slugs.
CONSTITUTION: A variety of sludge A as municipal wastes, sludges containing organic substance are incorporated with 10W20%, based on the sludge A, of a substance containing calcium as slaked lime as an agent facilitating filtration and dewatering and lowering the melting point, then filtered and dewatered in water remover B. The dewatered cake is led by conveyor 1 to dryer 2 where it is dried to less than 5% water content and crashed with crasher 13.
