PURPOSE:To improve the manipulation of a tuning knob by making reception possible in a minimum-noise state by the tuning knob, by disconnecting a distortion detection loop by operating the tuning knob. CONSTITUTION:Between the input terminal of local oscillator 4 and modulation- frequency oscillator 11 forming a distortion detection loop, and the output terminal of amplifier 16 receiving the output of multiplier 14 via LPF15 and the other input terminal of oscillator 14, switching elements 17 and 18 are provided respectively and then controlled by the output of touch switch 20 of tuning knob 19. Then, the output of the distortion detection loop is cut off by the output of tuning knob 19 to allow the control of the frequency of oscillator 4 through the operation of tuning knob 19, and minimum-distortion reception is performed by tuning knob 19, thereby improving the manipulation of tuning knob 19.
