Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to exercise a selection between a repeat sweep furnction of sweeping repeatedly in the same band and a sweep function of switching to another band when reaching the terminal frequency of one band through a simple operation. CONSTITUTION:This receiver consists of the superheterodyne receiveing part where local oscillator circuit 1 is formed of phase synchronizing loop 2 and the sweep control part which sweeps by controlling programmable divider 3. When AM band key 11 is selected by operating repeat key 14, flip-flop 13 is set, output Q becomes ''H'', and the lowest AM receiving frequency is preset to dividing-ratio setting counter 5. After the completion of initial setting, counter 5 counts up to the highest receiving frequency and then the lowest AM receiving frequency is preset again to counter 5. The FM band reception is done in the same way. When key 14 is not operated, sweeps of alternate AM and FM are accomplished.
