Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by using the VCO at the modulation part of the simplex radio transmitter/receiver and thus to share the high frequency amplification part, the mixing part, the intermediate frequency amplification part and the low frequency amplification part each. CONSTITUTION:Speaker/mike 51 is switched to the mike via switch 50, and the input voice is applied to the control input of VCO54 via transmission/reception switch 56, low frequency amplifier 49 and phase shift controller 39 each with the output modulated. The modulated output of VCO54 is supplied to mixer 43 via hybrid circuit 13 to mixed with the output of local oscillator 44, and then supplied to antenna 31 via transmission/reception switch 32, high frequency amplifier 42, transmission/reception switch 52, transmission power amplifier 34 and transmission/ reception filter 33 each. The input supplied through the antenna is changed to the IF signal at mixer 43 and via filter 33, switch 32, high frequency amplifier 42 and switch 52 each, and furthermore turned to the aural signal at detector 48 via hybrid circuit 53, IF filter 46 and IF amplifier 47 each. And this aural signal is supplied to speaker 51 by switch 50 and via switch 56 and amplifier 49.
