Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a head and also to increase the degree of integration by stacking a two-layer coil and magnetic film on a magnetic substrate via an insulating film and by connecting the magnetic film to the magnetic substrate via contact holes. CONSTITUTION:On magnetic substrate 301, 1st-layer insulating film 302, lst-layer coil 303, 2nd-layer insulating film 304, 2nd-layer coil 305 connecting to coil 303 via contact holes and 3rd-layer insulating film 306 are provided. Next, contact holes are made in the center of coils 303 and 305 reaching substrate 301 via films 302, 304 and 306 and further film 306 is provided with magnetic film 307, which is connected to substrate 301 in the center 308 of the coil.
