Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the discontinuing time of the call process and thus to prevent the service lowering of the exchange process by executing the fault process of the channel system device in the function dispersion control exchange system at the same level as the call process. CONSTITUTION:The fault occurred to either one of channel terminal systems 31- 33 is detected at fault identification part 35, and the faulty device is switched at the F level along with the fault occurrence display given. And switch part 39 and fault occurrence display part 38 are set to the relating call. Then the detection for the change concerning the call is discontinued via stop/start part 36 to prevent the logic conflict, and at the same time the state of fault call is regenerated to the state before occurrence of the fault at state setting part 37 and at the B level in parallel with the call process. Furthermore, the call change detection is started again through part 36 when the regeneration process is over. In such way, both the call process and the fault process can be carried out at the same level and in parallel, thus shortening the discontinuing time of the call process and thus preventing the lowering of the exchange process service.
