Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the processing of a fault by shortening the time required for fault information, by informing a central processing method for system control directly of a fault occurring to a channel system device through a channel system emergency control method. CONSTITUTION:Once a fault occurs to the channel system device, fault information lines 211-21n+1 are activated via time switches 11-1n to inform channel system emergency controller 20 of the fault occurrence. This controller 20, when information lines 211-21n+1 are activated, informs central processor 4 for system control the occurrence of the fault via interruption line 22. Further, interruption line 22 is connected to all central processor 3 for interchange processing and information on the fault can be reported, block by block, by being masked state. In addition, controller 20 ANDs active states of information lines 211-21n+1 and interrupts processor 4 to display the active state via maintenance read line 23, thereby making it possible to read detailed fault information from processor 4.
