CONSTITUTION:The system comprises master stations 11-13 puls plural units of slave stations, and each slave station is connected to at least two master stations via monitor control line 3. At the same time, each of the master stations is connected to other master station via monitor line 5. Here, slave station 2 detects the fault of the circuit connected to itself as well as the fault of its own, and can switch the circuit when necessary. On the other hand, master stations 11-13 memorizes the switching command to switch and control slave station 2 as well as the circuit between stations 2 based on the fault information given from station 2. Then station 2 is put in order to at least two master stations among 11-13 to be monitored. In this way, the memory capacity can be reduced, thus enhancing the reliability of the switching system.
