PURPOSE:To prevent the system down, by relieving the down of any station immediately to make signal communication possible by providing a means which makes all of the master station and remote sations, which consitute a loop transmission processing system, dual. CONSTITUTION:The master station and plural remote stations are constituted as dual systems, and each sation is provided with a means by which the station of one system executes the function for the sation of the other when this station used currently for the transmission processing becomes down. For example, stations 14 and 15 of respective systems of the same configuration are connected to transmission lines 20 and 21 through a line switching part 19, and only one of them is in the operatable state. When a transmission control part 17 detects the fault of the function of the station 14, the station 15 is set to the operatable state through the line switching part 19 and is connected to tramsmission lines 20 and 21 by the control of a microcomputer based of this fault detection, and thus, the station 15 executes the function for the station 14 in a short time.
