Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture such material as is minimized for hole, small in grain size and uniform in magnetic property by burning ferrite to have a hole percentage below given one, subjecting it to hot hydrostatic press for high density and then to heat treatment.
CONSTITUTION: A raw material coming in MnO at 30mol%, ZnO at 15mol% and Fe2O3 at 55mol% is weighed, mixed by a ball mill and then dried to sintering at a given temperature. Next, it is ground again by the ball mill, dried to primary burning, and thus formed is a ferrite below 5% in hole percentage. The ferrite is then burned so that the grain size will not grow with temperature working at 1, 180°C at 800 atm. by means of a hot hydrostatic press. In addition to a high density obtained as above, strain is removed through heat treatment and the hole percentage of the ferrite is retained below 0.1%, thereby manufacturing a material uniform in magnetic property.
