Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement in material strength by using titanium or titanium alloy as blank and forming a chemical nickel plating layer via aluminum plating layer on the mirror surface part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Titanium or titanium alloy is used as blank 1, which is then fabricated to a dodecahedron shape, thence an aluminum plating layer 2 is applied on its mirror part surface followed by chemical nickel plating treatment and setting the chemical nickel plating layer 3 through heat treatment. After this, the surface is lapped to have higher surface accuracy and further an aluminum vapor deposition layer 4 is formed to enhance reflectance. It is desirable for the purpose of surface protection to further apply glass coating thereon.
