Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a high accuracy centrifugal separator showing excellent sludge-releasing effect and lowering noise by providing spiral brushes between an inner tube and an outer tube and rotating at high speed either the inner tube or the outer tube.
CONSTITUTION: Feed liquid such as waste water, shudge, etc. from an inflow pipe 1 is supplied. An inner tube 2 and an outer tube 12 are rotated in the same direction by driving a motor 6. In this case, the inner tube 2 is rotated at higher speed than that of the outer tube 12. The feed liquid is introduced into the inner tube 2. By centrifugal force due to the rotation of the inner tube 2, the liquid is separated through holes 4 to the outside of the tube. The remaining solids are moved in the direction of the outside of the tube by spiral brushes 11 while rotating, and discharged from a sludge shooter 20 to the outside of the apparatus. Further, the liquid is separated by small holes 13 formed on the outer tube 12 and jetted into a casing drum 18 to form treated liquid. The treated liquid is discharged through an outflow pipe 19.
