Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily manufacture the positioning sensor by using the straight lines dividing a pair of photo detecting regions of an equal area fromed by photoelectric tranducer pairs as mark positioing references.
CONSTITUTION: Photoelectric transducer pairs 1, 2 which are arrayed mutually at a right angle are formed by the photoelectric transducers 1a and 1b, 2a and 2b whose photodetecting areas divided respectively by straight lines are of an equal area and their dividing straight lines become the detection references for the projected images of the register marks 3, 4 forming the reticule of the film original plate. This constitution eliminates the need for making a multiplicity of photoelectric transducer pairs of equal output characteristics and enables the photoelectric transducer pairs to be formed by two sets of the photoelectric transducers of equal output characteristics.
