Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit the pulse string signals containing more than two types of information via one piece of the transmission line by providing the information also at both the rise and fall parts of the pulse string which is transmitted to the reception side from the transmission side, and thus to realize the transmission of several types of information. CONSTITUTION:In the information transmission system in which the information to be transmitted to the reception side from the transmission side is expressed in the form of the electric pulse series, the following units are provided at the transmission side: control circuit 13 to control the input; rise controlling transistors Tr1-Trn; fall controlling Tr1-Trn; rise controlling resistances R1, R2...; fall controlling resistances r1, r2...; and capacitor C respectively. Thus, both the high and low level value of the electric pulse series are altered in accordance with logic 0 and 1 each, and the significance is given to both the rise and fall of the output pulse. While several types of logic gates featuring different threshold levels are provided at the reception side in order to carry out the detection for both rise and fall. In such constitution, several types of information can be transmitted via one piece of the transmission line.
