Abstract
PURPOSE: To from the moisture sensor which has broad measuring range, is not subject to the effect of gas and dust other than water vapor, is easy for handling and economical, by containing absorption substance to fiber active carbon.
CONSTITUTION: Synthetic fiber such as cellulose system-, acrylo-nitrile system-, cross linked polyethyrene system- fiber, immersed with fire-retardant agent as required, is carbonized at about 400°C or less. Further, the sheet consisting of fiber active carbon having comparatively sharp fine hole distribution of average diameter 10 to 50 Å, manufactured activated at about 400°C or more, is contained with absorption material (favorably, lithium chloride) by about 40 wt.% or less, to form the moisture sensor.
