Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a poly-stylus electrode by forming an electrode pattern on a metallic thin film mounted on the other face of a flexible film having a hard plate mounted on one face and further exposing the top end of the electrode by bending it fully.
CONSTITUTION: A hard print base 22 having a small stiffness coefficient is mounted on the surface of a flexible film 21. A metallic thin film 24 such as copper or the like is mounted on the other surface of the film 21. The metallic film 24 is firmly supported the foregoing two-layer structure and a photo etching is provided for the film 24 while keeping a predetermined distance from the master pattern at an exposuring process time to form an electrode pattern. The electrode patterns extend in vothe directions from a slot 23. One of the electode pattern is formed to cause a deviation of a half pitch of the stylys electrode and is bent fron the center line 23 by inclining the electrode pattern face inwardly and is fixed by interposing an insulation film 26 having a desirable thickness between the films 21. Thereafter, the bent portion is cut down to be removed to expose the top end of the electrode as a recording needle to the outer surface.
