Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to facilitate the grasping of the discharge condition of a battery so that the battery life can be easily judged by displaying the discharge and the usable capacity of a battery of an electric car.
CONSTITUTION: The voltage, which is generated at a shunt 2 by the discharge current of a batterty 1, is converted into pulse number at 6, divided in frequency at 7 and counted at 8. The integrated value is fed as the discharge during the running operation to a display device 11. On the other hand, the battery voltage is compared with the standard voltage of a generator 3, and the integrated value of the counter 8 is latched at 9 by the compared output in case the standard voltage is higher so that the usable capacity at the end of the discharge is displayed at 10. Incidentally, the initial usable capacity is displayed in a display device 12. As a result, it is possible to instantly grasp the discharge and the condition of the battery life.
