Abstract

PURPOSE:To know the charging/discharging state accurately by counting the charging/discharging current of an accumulator in the form of the pulse signal, and displaying the charging/discharging electric quantity of the accumulator in percent against the nominal capacitance and according to the counting state of the above mentioned pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:When the charging starts for an accumulator 1, the charging current is detected by a microresistor 2 in the form of voltage and converted by a voltage-frequency converting circuit 3 into the pulse signal having the frequency proportional to the detected voltage. This pulse signal is counted by a counting circuit 5 to be stored. In this case, the direction of the current is discriminated by a charging/discharging discriminating circuit 4 with an additional counting instruction, and the count value of the circuit 5 is converted into the electric signal and displayed by a display circuit 6. In this case, the size of the resistor 2, the converting factor of the circuit 3 and the count value of the circuit 5 are set respectively so as to indicate the display of the circuit 6 100% when the nominal capacitance of the accumulator 1 is charged.
