Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a push-pull amplifier to operate with high efficient without causing switching distortion in its output, by making an output-stage transistor operate invariably in an passive region. CONSTITUTION:A signal from input signal source SG is supplied to the base of driving-stage transistor Q7 of the PNP type at the same time when an alternating signal to be amplified is supplied to the base of NPN driving-stage transistor Q6. When alternating-current impedance values of bias power supplies Vb3 and Vb4 of transistors Q6 and Q7 are made zero, transistors Q6 and Q7 become equal in base-voltage waveform. The emitter of transistor Q6 is connected to the base of output-stage transistor Q1 via switching circuit 1 and also to the emitter of transistor Q7 via resistance Re. The emitter of this transistor Q7 is connected to the base of output-stage transistor Q2 via switching circuit 2.
