Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve linearity of a load to an output voltage by providing a beam- pressure receiving part, where a strain gauge in stuck, with pivot coupling axis for transmitting a load tilting to the transmission direction of the load.
CONSTITUTION: Base side 4 fixed to base 1 and pressure receiving side 5 applied with a load are linked by arms 6 and 7 at both upper and lower ends so as to form parallelogram-shaped arm part 3 and pressure receiving part 5 is provided with projection side 13. Between this projection part 13 and pressure receiving part 15 of beam 14 where strain gauge 18 is stuck to its strain-caused part, pivot coupling axis 28 is provided tilting to the transmission direction of a load. Once a measured body is placed on receptacle 11, its load applied from projection side 13 to the tip of beam 14 via pivot coupling axis 28 and beam 14 deforms. Since pivot coupling axis 28 is tilting in this case, deformation states of beam 14 and arm part 3 are canceled each other, so that the relation between the load and an output voltage will be improved.
