Abstract
PURPOSE: To make weight calibration operation easy by placing a pressing device on the sensing part of a master load cell, connecting the same to the frame of a weighing device unit and pressing the sensing part of the weighing device unit as well together with the master load cell.
CONSTITUTION: In the weight calibration of a weighing load cell 17 of a truck scale or the like, a master load cell 21 is placed on the suspension ring 18 on a weighing device unit 12 and further a pressing device 28 is placed thereon. A wire rope 34 is then tightened. Next, when a cylinder device 30 is extended, a weight-calibrating load cell 26 is pressed by a protrusion 31 and at the same time, the weighing load cell 17 is also pressed by way of the suspension ring 18. Hence, by making comparative checking of whether the output value of the weighing load cell 17 changes in follow up to the output value of the weight-calibrating load cell 26 or not, the weight calibration the weighing load cell 17 may be readily accomplished.
