Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect the strain, while highly preventing the moisture, by fixedly jointing an inadhesive layer, which will not stick an insulating layer, to the upper side of a strain gauge in a load cell balance.
CONSTITUTION: A strain gauge 11 is formed between insulating layers 12 and 13 through a metal thin film rsistor 14 and is adhered to a strain raising portion 10. There is fixedly jointed to the upper side of the gauge 11 an inadhesive layer 17 which will not stick the insulating layers 12 and 13. As a result, the upper side of the gauge 11 adhered to the oprtion 10 has no coupling condition with the layer 17 so that the deformation of the portion 10 is transmitted to the gauge 11, while being free from the influences from the layer 17, thereby to make it possible to accomplish the accurate strain detection.
