Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is manufactured easily and has stable output characteristics by forming a strain-motive beam of an elastic body held at both ends by making slits in an elastic material in a rectangular prism shape, and then sticking a strain gauge to the internal surface of a strain detecting and stress concentrated hole bored in the beam. CONSTITUTION:On the top surface of an elastic body in a rectangular prism shape, a load applied part is provided, and a couple of mutually ipposed slits penetrating the flank are made in parallel to the top surface. The upper part above the slit is used as a beam of an elastic material held at both ends, strain detecting and stress concentrated holes are bored on both ends of the beam, and a strain gauge is stuck to the internal surface of the hole. The lower part below the slit is used as a load supporting base. For example, strain detecting and stress concentrated holes 32 and 34 are bored in a beam 28 of a strain-motive elastic material held at both ends above the slit 26, and strain gauges 42 and 44 are stuck, opposed to each other with a bending stress neutralizing shaft 36, to their internal walls. At the opening edges of the holes 32 and 34, a hermetical terminal member 48 and a diaphragm 46 are stuck.
