Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit sufficient protection of a battery and at the same time, to increase light-receiving efficiency by covering the areas except for the light-receiving areas of a plurality of solar batteries, which are bonded and fixed to the inner surface of surface glass of an electronics equipment, by a mold protective layer.
CONSTITUTION: On the surface of a square N-type semiconductor substrate 12, a plurality of P-type regions 13, which are slightly smaller than the substrate 12, are diffusion-formed in such a manner that they are positioned in the reverse confirmation. On these layers, N-pole lead parts 12a and P-pole lead parts 13a are each formed and each battery 11 is combined to obtain a solar battery 10. These batteries 11 are connected in the reverse confirmation, and bonded and fixed onto a fixed plate 14 made of an epoxy resin to give a solar battery unit 10'. This solar battery unit is provided corresponding to a wire pattern 18 which is provided at the given position on the inside of a surface glass 2 of an electronic wrist watch, and the lead part is connected to the pattern 18. Thereafter all the areas except for the light- receiving area are covered with a mold protective layer 20 consisting of an opaque epoxy resin.
