Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform complete air purge at misfiring and to improve safety at re- starting, by flame detector, judging device of emergency stop condition and starter.
CONSTITUTION: Turbine 21 is started by starter 25 via air compressor 22, generator 23 and clutch 24. If flame detector 29 does not detect firing at a fixed rotation of turbine, fuel break valve closes and, actuated by unshown relay, contact 6b closes. When rotation speed is high, speed signal contact 10 closes, auxiliary relay 9 activates, contact 9a closes to direct starter 25 to stop. When emergency stop condition occurs, contact 5b closes by unshown judging device of engine stop condition to direct starter 25 to stop. Thus, complete air purge is performed in turbine 21 and exhaust pipe 33, as well as combustor 26.
