Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable assured ignition of a small amount of feed fuel by sucking from outside such an amount of combustion air as to correspond to the augmentative portion of the feed fuel in main and auxiliary oil feed pipes and feeding the air to an evaporation burner.
CONSTITUTION: Augmented fuel is fed through a main oil feed pipe 9a into a rotating evaporation cylinder 2, and is scattered into a combustion cylinder by the rotary action of the cylinder 2. On the other hand, due to the rotary action of blower vanes 6, combustion air is sucked through the gap 18a formed between an adjusting valve 18 and an air feed cylinder 5 into an air chamber 4. The air suction port 21 of an air augmentation adjustor 20 interlocked with an ignition augmentation adjusting valve 12 is opened to feed into the chamber 4 such an amount of combustion air as to correspond to the fuel flowing in an auxiliary oil feed pipe 9a. Thus, the fuel and the combustion air are augmented in ignition/starting operation, so that a small amount of feed fuel can be ignited assuredly.
