Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent percipitation and building up of tar-like matter at the upper end of the wick by attaining complete combustion in a combustion chamber through almost forcible introduction of outside air into an interal air feeding chamber in a combustion cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: As a fan 21 rotates, outside air to positively introduced directly into a cylinder 2 from the lower open end 5 of a wick inner cylinder 2. The air fed into the wick inner cylinder 2 is preheated cooling the inner surface of the cylinder 2 and then, forcibly sent into the internal air feed chamber 18 of the combustion cylinder 8 from a ventilating port 4 at the upper end of the apparatus. This allows so sufficient air to be supplied to the combustion chamber 17 from the air feed chamber 18 that the combustion of vaporized fuel is promoted in the chamber 17 thereby creating an active convection therein. In turn, with a greater introduction of outside air into an external air feeding chamber 20 by natural drafting the supply of air is increased into the combustion chamber 17 from the chamber 20 thereby further improving in the combustion in the chamber 17.
