Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a high-accuracy and quick-response gain control with a small number of the sample by giving the sample holding to the sample holding circuit with the sample pulse and then giving the gain control to the output of the sample holding circuit with LPF.
CONSTITUTION: The ON/OFF carrier reception signals are supplied through terminal 1 to obtain output P0 after attenuation 2 and amplification. Output P0 is then sent to detector 4 and shifted 5 by the amount to be kept at constant VOA with output voltage VO used as the output of the receiver. While sample holding circuits 6 and 7 are sampled and held by the sample pulse applied from terminal 11, and the output receives the gain control via adder circuit 8 and LPF9. As a result, a high-accuracy and quick-response gain control is possible with a small number of the sample.
