Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the reliable and satisfactory inspection possible by the fast forward drive by subjecting a plurality of frequency dividing outputs to gate processing so that only the frequency of the drive pulses upon the normal and fast forward drives is varied to make the pulse widthes the same.
CONSTITUTION: If a test terminal 8 is supplied with a high level signal so that it is brought into a test condition, one AND gate of the AND.OR gates of a switching circuit 9 is selected to that the circuit 9 switches and generates the frequency-dividing outputs by the FF F2 two steps before the FF F4 of a frequency dividing circuit 10 which is selected during the normal drive. Those outputs and the frequency dividing output of the first step FF F1 of a circuit 10 are composed so that a pulse motor 6 is supplied with pulses having a frequency four times the normal one, which is determined by the frequency dividing output frequency of the FF F2 two steps before the normal drive with the pulse width determined by the output of the FF F1 having the highest frequency. Since the pulse width is not different from that of the normal drive, the motor 6 is fast driven without fail so that the watch can be inspected satisfactorily and reliably without any addition of an external drive current. The inspection of the battery voltage can be likewise performed in high responsiveness.
