Abstract
PURPOSE:For obtaining simultaneously oscillation beams with green and blue wavelengths, to make the reflectors on the total internal reflection and output sides of an oscillator, of the dielectric multi-layer film having the reflectance and transmittance suitable for laser oscillation. CONSTITUTION:Optically-polished Brewster windows 2 are provided at the both ends of the laser tube 1 made of silica glass, an anode 3 and a cathode 4 are fitted, and Ar gas is enclosed in said tube 1. Further, a total internal side reflector 5 and a reflector 6 on the output side for taking out laser beam are provided so as to face each other at the both ends of the outer tube of said tube 1. With a lamination having a thickness corresponding to 1/4 of beam wavelength made of ZnS and MnF2, said reflector 5 is provided with such a characteristic that transmittance is 1-1.5%, higher than 35% and 1-1.5% when wave length is 528.7nm, 514.5nm and 457.9nm, respectively; and said reflector 6 with such a characteristic that transmittance is almost zero regardless of wavelength. Thus, 528.7nm green and 457.9nm blue laser beams are generated simultaneously.
