Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform efficiently data transfer between information processing units by providing a processor, an interrupt reporting means and an interface state storage means and performing the initial clear processing by a micro program.
CONSTITUTION: When central processing unit A2 transmits a command when normal data transfer is performed between central processing units A1 and B, a reset signal is outputted by coupler C2 and is inputted to coupler C1. Coupler C1 suspends initial clear until routes a and b become a normal state, and reports abnormal termination to unit A1 after they become a normal state, thus initialinzing routes a and b. Then, couplers are constituted by bus controllers 1-A and 1-B, reset detection circuits 2-A and 2-B, micro program controlling micro processor 3, control circuit 4 and state storage circuits 5-A and 5-B.
