Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject method of injecting a high-pressure fluid from a fluid injection port of the lower surface of a hollow floating body to form a fluid curtain, thereby to prevent the difusion of the floating matters in a wide range.
CONSTITUTION: Small holes 2 for the fluid injection of a hollow cylinder of a required length, connected to a flexible joint 4 so as to encircle the floating matters on the water level are laid downwardly. Then, high-pressure air is delivered by pressure into the cylinder 1 from a power generating source 6 loaded on a working ship or the like via transportation pipe 7. Then, a curtain-like film is formed substantially vertically by air injected through small holes 2, and the diffusion of the floating matters on the water level is prevented. Furthermore, the depth of the fluid curtain 8 under the water level can be adjusted by the adjustment of the power from the power source 6, and accordingly the method of the present invention can be applied to a wide range of from heavy layer floating matters such as a red tide and the like to surface layer floating matters such as flowing out oil and the like.
