Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate knocking in the engine by generating proper ignition signals in proportion to the engine condition, water temperature, humidity of inhaled air, acceleration and deceleration of the throttle. CONSTITUTION:Engine condition is detected by a rotation detecting sensor 1, such as crank angle sensor, etc., ignition progressive angle signal (A) is output by an operational circuit 4. Water temperature in the engine is detected by a water temperature sensor 7, humidity of inhaled air is detected by a humidity sensor 8, acceleration and deceleration of the throttle is detected by a sensor 9, signals of these sensors 7-9 are calculated in an operational circuit 10, and ignition signal compensating value B is generated. When the engine knocking is detected, total ignition delay signal F is output by reference ignition delay signal E and the compensating value B, which becomes preclusive of successive knocking. This facilitates preclusion of engine knocking.
