Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily and safely make ultrasonic cleaning of contact lenses while kept put in their protecting holders by making the protecting holders for containing contact lenses mountable to the vessel of the ultrasonic cleaner.
CONSTITUTION: A holding part 8 opened with holes for holding a protecting holder 9 is mounted to a cleaning vessel 6 having an ultrasonic wave vibrator 1, oscillating circuit 2 and power source 3. In the cleaning, the holder 9 containing a contacy lens 10 is placed on the holding part 8 and the contact lens 10 is dipped together with the holder 9 in a cleaning solution 7. Ultrasonic waves are then generated from the vibrating element 1, whereby cleaning is accomplished.
